Got back last night from this excellent show. I got a chance to meet some of the top boa people: Chris Nicholas, Jeff Ronne and Celia Chen to name a few. There were some absolutely mind blowing boas there and I had a blast. Enjoy the pics.

Now to Chris Nicholas's table. Being a boa fanatic, I found myself repeatedly going back to his table.
Motleys, some are het albinos ... dont remember which

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v165/Nefarion/Img0143.jpg
This Motley hypo was probably the most impressive boa I saw at the show. Unbroken pattern and some of the most intense color I have seen in a boa. My camera didnt quite pick it up in its full glory.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v165/Nefarion/Img0138.jpg
This "Calico" boa was amazing. Chris told me it is also a possible het albino. Lets hope the calico trait as well as the het albino aspect proves out!

Jeff Ronne! Finally I meet the man himself. Very friendly/funny guy in person. His boas are absolutely insane... I can tell you now with firsthand experience that his pictures do no justice whatsoever.

Check out these monstertail hypos... They are going to be some of the most impressive adult boas on earth.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the pics. I sure had fun taking them.
Yeah, it was in Tinley Park which is outside of Chicago. Great show... I will defenitely be going next year. Hopefully more of you will make it and we can meet up or something.
It was great to meet some of the many great breeders out there. Jeff Ronne of course... his monstertail and pastel hypos were insane. He had some real nice pastels there too. Celia Chen was great, extremely knowledgeable and willing to chat and take boas out. Her jungles were absolutely stunning. Luckily I stumbled accross Chris Nicholas's table when it had slowed down and got a chance to speak with him for a bit. I am still in shock over that hypo motley he had. I wasnt sure if it was possible to have such a connected pattern hypo motley because what I have seen of them... they are all broken. The color/contrast is just unreal.
What I was REALLY wanting to see was a pastel albino from Ronne. I guess its good he didnt bring any because I probably would have never left his table.
Can't wait till next year. :'(

Well I have been just sooooo busy it is unimaginable! I just took ten minutes to get better pictures of a couple of the animals Ryan was referring to on my table at the Chicago show. Here is one of my Pastel Hypos. I had her listed at $1400.00. I am glad nobody took her. I think most people just have no idea how nice some Hypos are just assume a Hypo is a Hypo and they don't take the time to stop and smell the Roses. Look at this thing!

and a shot of one of the Red Monster Tail Hypos people were drooling all over...
Believe me, and Ryan can confirm this. The color in these photos is not as good as real life. Just unbelievable!
Ryans color is definitely better. I wish I could get that real color! Drives me nuts.

That $1400 Pastel Hypo that Jeff had was defenitely incredible. I excpected Jeff to have amazing boas but I didnt expect them to be so good for only $1400. Honestly, from other places I would expect those pastel hypos to go for $2000+ easily... maybe more. The color is so intense.
And yes, I can defenitely attest to the awesomeness of those monster tail hypos. The saddle contrast and underlying color is outstanding. From what I have seen of Jeff pictures as to how the nicer ones develop, they are going to be totally mind-blowing as adults. I dream of the day when we see a monstertail sunglow... that will be arguebly the most impressive albino form of a boa ever IMO (in terms of contrast and overall appeal). Could you imagine plugging a pastel dreams albino into one of those monstertail hypos?
Id love to see what kind of monstertail holdbacks you have from that litter Jeff. If the ones you were selling were that insane.. I cant even think of a word to describe how the holdback(s) must be.

Thanks for the pics. I am new to the Boa world and it was good to see all the different morphs. I currently only have a pair of Dumeril Boas. Maybe one day I will be able to expand my collection. It's wild to see what those snakes are going for. Lot's of moula in the breeding business....lol! Anyway thanks for sharing.
