Well I was taking a ride to all the local pet stores, As I always do on my day off. When I came to the last store. In basically the ghetto......in a tank marked "Ball Pythons".....I found this little gem!!!!

I took the pictures with a P.O.S logitech camera but heck with the color LOOK at that tail!

After taxes she was 139.00 ;D

GREAT SCORE! Nice looking boa. Were they trying to sell it as a ball python?

No it was miss placed and hidden behind a bowl. I barley seen the head. I thought to myself thats one funny looking ball python. I was going to leave and just for shits and gigles I asked to see it. As soon as I seen that stripe. I asked them how much. When they said 129.00 I refused to let go of the snake!!!! I carried it up to the counter and pulled out the plastic! I was on my motorcycle so I put it in a box and crammed it in my backpack...lol

What a deal. You were lucky toget it for that price. Shows you what most pet store owners know. :'(

I don't suppose they new whether it was CB WC or FB. You never know could be new "jungle" blood or genetic stripe. Did I mention it is NICE!! :( Have you had a chance to sex it yet?

Jungle boas are boas with aberrant saddles. I don't know what distinguishes an aberrant from a jungle though-maybe just genetics. Hopefully someone else can elaborate. Jungles are one high dollar morph though.

Awesome snake as well. After the 30 minute motorcycle ride in my backpack home and then into my car to go show my friends. He readily gobbled up a pinky with no problems!!!! When you hold the snake it doesnt want to go back into the cage!!!! Just a awesome boa!!! I was thinking of selling it and make some extra money but I think I will keep it and let it grow and maybe buy it a striped mate.
