Just when I started being happy with the boas I have, you go and post that beauty. I am gonna have to trade off some of my pastels and get me one of those. Great looking animal bro.

Is there a reason for using that color bark in the cage?

I was going to also ask Randy about his choice in substrate.
Is that what you use in all cages?
Is that the repti-bark stuff? or another wood?
Can you get it in bulk conveniently and approximately how much $ ?
The pet stores in my area don't carry big bags of Aspen or any Cypress Mulch at all!
I tried Aspen but it seems to dry out my enclosures and snakes too much...
I went back to newspaper and most recently am trying new DCL cage liners precut for Boaphile Plastics 421D's...
They seem to be great - clean, simple, easy, qucik to clean... i'm just not too happy with removing and replacing the whole size sheet for a small spot of poo... lol
Oh well, any comments or suggestions appreciated...
Thanks, Joe

I actually use newspaper in the enclosure, the branch and repti bark are just in an area I was trying out for pictures.
I don't like to use the repti bark as a substrate for anything other then for tokay geckos (which I no longer keep, for now atleast) but one of my friends at a local petshop uses reptibark for around half of his enclosures along with aspen. (He uses it to add a little nicer appearance in the enclosures, and he doesn't seem to have any real issues with humidity or cleaning.)

Great looking albino Randy, what strain is she?
I also use Repti-bark in all my enclosures, i like to have a natural look. It also helps with humidity.

She is a nice albino Randy! What type of lighting were you using in these pics? Thanks for sharing! :'(

Thanks guys, she is a kahl strain.
The only light I used in these pix were the ceiling lighting and the flash of the camera. I need to get some full spectrum lighting so I can really show her off.

Randy, that is one nice albino. She has a lavender tone to her in some areas. I was wondering how old and how large she is right now. Great shots, keep them coming.

She measures in right around 26", so she is still a littly bitty girl.
