I am selling this little male tomorrow. I've just started liking him. He was such a pleasure to keep. He only ever bit me once. He was a slow eater and didn't grow as much as all the others I had that was his age. I think I'm gonna miss this little guy.

Good news!!! I took this guy with me to the meeting on Friday night, where the buyer was gonna meet up with me, and he never pitched, so now I have decided to keep this little guy!!! Maybe one day I will get a female which I will breed with him, but for now, I am just happy with keeping him with that nice tail of his!!!

I'm glad it worked out that way for you. It's always bittersweet when you sell one of your babies. I had a beautiful albino het for stripe that I had decided to sell (needed the money). I tried a couple of times (reluctantly) and decided "If she doesn't sell by Friday I'll just keep her". Unfortunately, Thursday night at about 10:00 PM she was sold. It was a sad day when I sent her out. I think that to date this was the biggest mistake that I've made in my short herp history. Anyway, I'm glad you didn't have do deal with the heartache.

It's funny how that always happens. As soon as you decide not to sell something, everyone wants it!!!

I am happy for you that you get to keep that nice looking male. I suggest down the road getting him a circleback laddertail female mate so they can produce more of the "poor mans arabesque"

Thanx. Finding a circle back laddertail female is gonna be difficult in SA. I might however be able to produce more laddertails with a big female I have at present. I will just first wait and see if her striped tail was genetic or not. I know his is. Maybe next year!!!
