I purchased this animal and as a baby he appeared like a regular looking Albino.

And then with age and size he is getting red and more red.

This is an older pic and I will snap a few shots when he is done shedding.

He is acctually more redish now.

It is my understanding that Coral Albinos are not Born with all the red but the color develops with age.

My question is what is a Coral Albino? Is it a genetic trait or a random occurence?

From what I have been told regarding the Coral albinos is that the Coral is a passable trait and I believe they are claiming it is recessive. I have wondered about the coral trait from the beginning if perhaps it is simply a form of Pastel albino with a non Ronne line pastel as the founding animal. That would explain the passing on of the trait, but also explain the seemingly sporadic nature in which it is passed on.
