Very nice animal.. :'( His intense coloration is similar to that of a few of Linda's pastels she produced from Pastel Dream to Pastel Dream this year.

That's an AWESOME PASTEL!! I really like his look. ;D How old is he? How many times has he shed? I've found that the color changes are more dramatic after the 3rd shed. Can you possibly take a picture of him next to a "non-pastel". I think contrast pictures are GREAT and they really show off the colors of the Pastels. Especially one as nice as yours. I think you'll find as he matures that grey stripe down his sides will turn orange. At least, that's what I found to be true with my Pastels.
BTW Randy,
I think he does sort of look like Pyro, as far as colors go. LOL.
Wow ::)
Tottally intense colorqation there! It seems everytime I come in here there is a newer more colored or different looking boa out there!
I wonder if anyone has ever bothered to make a photographic list of all Boa variations there are.

one more. My roommate told me to put something blue in the photo to get the white balance better. You can see a little more of how real intenese the color is on this guy. I picked him up about a month ago from Larry sedrick. according to him it is a reletively new pastel line. He picked up a pair in mexico about 5 years ago and this is the offspring there putting out. I have photos of the parents as well ill post those later.

Hey linda
I would really love to see some of your more colorfull pastels. I'm not trying to be cocky but i honestly have never seen anything like this boa. It really pulled my interest in color to the front of my collection. I'm thinking of picking up a female from the same litter just so i have both sides of the gene. none of the other siblings really compared to this guy. all were what would be considered nice pastels but nothing quit the same.

Linda i think it would be a good thing to post your photos on this thread. It seems to get a lot of attention and sharing these guys makes them that much more amazing.

OK, Here's my babies. They're from Jeff Ronne's Pastel Dream line. I bought the parents over 2 years ago. I got them as 2 year olds, so the mom was 4 when she gave birth. :'(
This is Jazz and Fancee. Jazz is the orange/pink one. Fancee is my Davey Pastel. I think they show good contrast between the two Pastel lines.

This is one of my Pastel babies next to my Albino female. I'm not sure which one she is. I just did a comparison shot.

Pyro after his first shed. BTW I considered him an "OK" Pastel at this point.

Here he is at 7 months. I decided he was a keeper after his second shed. Shane of ACC made me take a second look at him and prompted my decision to keep him. Thanks Shane. :'(

WOW Sudden,
Your boa has some intense orange. I like overall lightness and that clean look too. That's an AMAZING BOA!! :'(
Boamatic,
I really love your boa too. She's so clean and also has a great reduction of black. I'm guessing that the camera doesn't show all the color she has. I bet she's lots of pink/orange! BTW I really love her face too. You have an AMAZING BOA as well!! :'(

Here is a photo of Kenny's mom. or at least i'm pretty sure its the mom. i guess it could be the dad only it looks a little fat for a male. any way you can see the color gets real intenese. This photo was taken by Larry Sedrick.
Linda you should e-mail me to talk about some of your pastels.

You guys have some really stunning pastels. I recently acquired a Lemke line pastel as well as a Ronne line pastel. I have had a nice 01 ebv pastel for a while now as well. They are all great. The most intense color-wise boa I have though is my harlequin, which also is a reduction in black... but also with pattern abberancy and color infusion. I am really anticipating the first harlequin albinos.
Heres my harlequin female girl, after only 2 sheds. Her lateral color bleeds up and all over. Its a different coloration than the pastel lines you see, more peach. She shed again last week and it has gotten even better.

william1 I just got a trio of the pastels from Larry and I love them. Your male has alot more color than my 3 but I think that all of them look good. I cant wait to see them as they grow. Good luck with yours. I will post some pics later.
